Alternate Universe Or Did MCU Just Kill Off Wanda Maximoff? Not Expected From Multiverse Of Madness

Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch, will appear in the upcoming Marvel film “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which will be released on May 6, 2022, and fans have been startled to see Wanda’s character in the film’s most recent trailer.

Wanda Maximoff is a fictional character played by Elizabeth Olsen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) media franchise. She is based on the same-named Marvel Comics heroine.

Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, is a Sokovian immigrant who accepts to participate in Hydra’s experiments with her twin brother Pietro. The Mind Stone enhances her natural telekinetic and energy manipulation abilities, known as Chaos magic.

One of the most surprising aspects of the film is Scarlet Witch’s role as adversary. Her main purpose was to kidnap America Chavez and use her multiversal travel ability to be with her children in another dimension.

Wanda Maximoff’s Death In The Multiverse Of Madness MCU

While the previews for “Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness” hint that Dr. Strange and Wanda Maximoff will band up to fight a common opponent, Scarlet Witch is revealed as the film’s antagonist very early on. She is said to have died at the conclusion of Multiverse of Madness.

America Chavez, a superpowered girl from another universe with the ability to open portals between dimensions and universes, was her target.

Wanda ultimately wants to drain America’s powers in order to be able to travel between worlds and be with her children in another universe. One of the film’s biggest revelations is that Scarlet Witch, alias Wanda Maximoff, is the enemy.

Scarlet Witch’s Evolution Over Time

In X-Men #4, Scarlet Witch debuted as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants alongside her twin brother, Quicksilver (March 1964). They were shown as timid adversaries who were uninterested in Magneto’s theories.

Wanda initially resists the Avengers, but later joins them and climbs through the ranks to become one of their most formidable members. Wanda becomes psychologically disordered after Vision’s death and the Blip, and she uses her abilities to manipulate an entire society into a false world.

This puts her at conflict with S.W.O.R.D. and Agatha Harkness, causing her to take up the ancient title of the Scarlet Witch in order to free the town and unleash her dormant powers.

Wanda Maximoff’s Death: How Does She Die? Is It a Parallel Universe?

Scarlet Witch is supposed to have died at the end of Multiverse of Madness when she sacrificed herself to destroy the evil grip and all of its alternative universes by sacrificing herself. According to insiders, her contract with Marvel has been renewed for another seven years, so we can’t be positive she’s dead.

Scarlet used her evil hold abilities to track them down, kidnapping Wanda from another dimension and murdering her. She finally acquired America Chavez and brought the two of them to a realm where Doctor Strange had been broken.

Wanda Maximoff finally sees her own mistakes and realises that she has evolved into a monster who doesn’t care if she has to take a life to attain her goal.

And while she was still inside, she had to enclose herself with the entire dark hold to make sure no one else was ever captivated by its talents.
