Bryant Tejeda-Castillo is accused of stabbing Dana Alotaibi, his estranged wife, who was three months pregnant, during an altercation on a highway in Hawaii. Authorities are still unaware of the murderer’s motive, despite the fact that there had previously been personal problems.

Bryant Tejeda-Castillo, a Marine deployed to the Kaneohe-based 3rd Littoral Combat Team, has been charged with second-degree murder. His bail has been set at $1 million.
Deena Thoemmes, homicide lieutenant in charge of the criminal investigation division of the Honolulu Police Department, said during a press conference that witnesses to the horrible occurrence on Wednesday “observed a male standing over a girl, stabbing her multiple times.”
As they worked to save the injured and catch the perpetrator, Tejeda-Castillo stabbed himself once in the woods before running. He was eventually apprehended by the police and taken into custody.
He was reportedly taken to a hospital and is currently being kept there, according to officials. Before the incident on Wednesday, the two are said to have gotten into a furious argument.
