After five years of dating, MLB veteran Adeiny Hechavarria and his fiancee, swimsuit model Alison Bowles, have decided to put off their wedding. Hechavarria, 33, started dating Bowles in 2017 and decided to pop the question in 2019 with a five-carat engagement ring. Hechavarria played for seven different MLB teams from 2012 to 2020.
Their current work trajectories, according to Bowles, need frequent separations. Hechavarria is currently a member of the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan, but the model frequently travels for work as an influencer. The two saw each other very little as a result, which contributed to their breakup.
Bowles wishes the baseball star nothing but the best despite all the challenges that led to their split. We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and I wish him continued success in his work, stated Bowles.
“Unfortunately that didn’t work out, but I’m glad to have God’s peace that beyond all understanding,” the model continued.
After spending eight years playing for seven MLB teams, including the Toronto Blue Jays, Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, New York Mets, and Atlanta Braves, Hechavarria left the US in 2020 to join the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan.
Along the road, the two faced difficulties; in December 2021, Bowles told the New York Post that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to spend 9 months apart. Because of this, their capacity to coexist as they see fit has been hampered, which has finally led to their separation.
Since Hechavaria was transferred to the Japanese baseball league and she was on a world tour, they didn’t have much time to spend together. According to information reported by TMZ Sports, they decided to go their separate ways because their respective jobs require them to be apart for an extended period of time, and Bowles confirmed the end of their engagement.
