Sheikh Muhammad bin Shakhbut Al Nahayan ruled Abu Dhabi (now a part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 1816 to 1818. He deposed his father Shakhbut Muhammad and in turn was deposed by his brother Tahnun after which he was exiled.
