Melissa Joan, in an effort to demonstrate her support for the Black Lives Matter movement, shared a photo of Shirley Temple and Bill Robinson from 1935. Her admirers, on the other hand, slammed the image as racist.
The actress later took down the photograph and replaced it with a Bible quotation. The original image, however, has already been seen by onlookers. Many of her followers thought her post was “racist” and inconsiderate before she changed it.
The item’s first edition included a photograph of the notable actors who appeared in The Little Colonel in 1935, along with a descriptive caption.
However, fans quickly pointed out that the film, as well as the word “Bojangles,” were racist and insulting, which was particularly problematic considering the historical backdrop of the time period in which they were published.

Melissa Joan Hart has yet to make an official announcement about her decision to enter politics.
She had stated that she would be the Connecticut Chairperson for libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson in the 2016 election campaign. She indicated that she was joining Johnson’s campaign in order to break free from the two-party system.
She’s also been heard saying on several occasions that while she may engage in political conversation on occasion, it’s merely her expressing her opinions and she has no intention of altering anyone’s perspective or engaging in a dispute.
