Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Biography
Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan was born on 20 November 1970. He is the deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, besides being a minister of presidential affairs. Mansour is the half brother of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the current President of the UAE. Apart from this, he is also the chairman of the ministerial council for services.
He has a stake in many businesses, which include Virgin Galactic and Sky News Arabia. Mansour is also the owner of Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG). The company acquired Manchester City Football Club in September 2008.
On the other hand, he is also the vice chairman of the Mubadala Development Company. Mansour bin Zayed was appointed chairman of the presidential office in 1977. He was chosen by his eldest half brother, Khalifa II as first minister of presidential affairs of the United Arab Emirates after his father’s demise.
Mansour has occupied different positions in Abu Dhabi. He has been supporting his brother, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. After reshuffle, he became minister for presidential affairs in 2004. He became the deputy chairman of the Abu Dhabi education council (ADEC), before being named the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department in 2006.
He was the chairman of First Gulf Bank till 2006 and a member of the board of trustees of the Zayed charitable and humanitarian foundation.

Mansour bin Zayed, his father Zayed II, was the first president of UAE. He was named chairman of the presidential offices in 1997. His eldest half-brother Khalifa II appointed him as the first minister of presidential affairs in the United Arab Emirates. This is the merger between the presidential office, presidential court and the presidential office. To support his brother Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, he also held a variety of positions in Abu Dhabi.
He was elected chairman of the ministerial Council for Services, which is a ministerial entity attached the Cabinet and includes a number ministers leading the service departments. He has been the chairman of National Center for Documentation and Research since 2000. He was appointed minister for presidential affairs in 2004. He was elected chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department in 2006. He was elected chairman of Khalifa bin Zayed Charity Foundation in 2007.
Mansour was the chairman of First Gulf Bank from 2006 to 2006. He also served as a member on the board of trustees for the Zayed charitable foundation and humanitarian foundation. Mansour established scholarships programs to allow U.A.E. students to study abroad. He is also the chairman of Emirates horse racing authority (EHRA). On 11 May 2009, Mansour was elected deputy prime minister and retained his post as minister of presidential affairs in cabinet.
Mansour was married to Sheikha Alia bint Muhammad bin Butti al Hamed in mid-1990s. They have one son, Zayed.
Mansour was married to Manal bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2005. She is the daughter Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai. Fatima (2006) and Mohammed (2008) were their two daughters. Hamdan (2011), Latifa (2014), Rashid (2017) and Fatima (2006) were their three sons.The yacht Topaz is owned by Mansour.
