The Sixers went on to win back-to-back titles. In the final against the Perth Scorchers at Adelaide Oval, Gardner scored 22 runs without being out. She was cleared to play in the final of the 2018–19 WNCL season, even though she had to drop out of the previous game at the last minute after getting a mild concussion during warm-ups.
