Gillum and Sharon Janet Lettman-Hicks, 53, are accused of working together to run a transfer scam between 2016 and 2019. This is against the law.

Gillum and Lettman-Hicks went to federal appeals court for the first time on Wednesday. They pleaded not guilty to all charges and were let go on their own recognizance.
